Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. To play along, just do the following:
- Grab your current read
- Open to a random page
- Share two "teaser" sentences from somewhere on that page
- Be careful not to include spoilers!
- Share the title and author, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR lists if they like your teasers!
I had never understood before just how precarious life was. How in one moment, one could exist on Byron and science experiments and in the next, they could vanish -- replaced by singing lessons and etiquette books as if my life itself depended upon them.

It's definitely interesting. And that dress on the cover reminds me of Belle from Disney's Beauty and the Beast!
