Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. To play along, just do the following:
- Grab your current read
- Open to a random page
- Share two "teaser" sentences from somewhere on that page
- Be careful not to include spoilers!
- Share the title and author, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR lists if they like your teasers!
Gone also were the long hours playing her violin...
She checked herself. She hadn't played since the day her brother broke her fingers.
~Prelude for a Lord by Camille Elliot, page 4

"I am indeed. I believe this is where you crave my pardon?"

The first one made me gasp, the second one made me laugh. Both good teasers:)

Both books sound good. I'm wondering about the evil brother who broke her fingers, and curious about where this Robin Hood story takes us.
ReplyDeleteMy Tuesday post features THE BEARWALKER’S DAUGHTER.
I've just started the first book, so I'm very curious about the brother who broke her fingers too. My impression is that he did it on purpose, but I wonder why and how he could be so cruel! Thanks for stopping by!
DeleteThat is some mean trick for the brother to play in the first teaser! Here is my TT http://cleopatralovesbooks.wordpress.com/2014/10/28/teaser-tuesday-october-28/
