It's Monday! What Are You Reading?

This weekly reading list meme is hosted at Book Date. Join in to see what others are reading and maybe get some ideas of what to read next!

I finished reading . . .

Isaiah's Daughter: A Novel of Prophets and Kings by Mesu Andrews - I finished this fantastic novel about the wife of King Hezekiah last week and just posted my review. You can still pre-order it today - but it releases tomorrow. And if you like historicals set during Bible times, you WILL want to read this! (Read my full review HERE.)

I'm currently reading . . .

French Women Don't Get Fat: The Secret of Eating for Pleasure by Mireille Guiliano - getting into the nitty gritty of this fun but practical book, and starting to think about what I can apply.

The Ladies of Ivy Cottage (Tales from Ivy Hill) by Julie Klassen - Rachel Ashford is an impoverished gentlewoman living with her friend Mercy Grove. Mercy and her aunt operate a girls' school, and Rachel is trying to start a subscription library to help earn her way.

My Heart Belongs in Castle Gate, Utah: Leanna's Choice by Angie Dicken - A young widow is looking for a way to leave the mining town when she is befriended by the family of a couple of her students.

Next on the stack...

Delilah: Treacherous Beauty by Angela Hunt
Judah's Wife: A Novel of the Maccabees (The Silent Years) by Angela Hunt

  1. Ohhhh! I had forgotten about Angela Hunt! Set out to Coas, my local used book store and picked up two of her books! I also put Isaiah's Daughter on my wish list at paperbackswap! You read some great books! Thank you for sharing!
