Once again, I missed a week due to being insanely busy! Here's two weeks worth of what I've been reading. I've also realized that for the first time in a long while I truly have more reading than I may be able to keep up with, because I've got so many books for review right now! And while it might seem like it shouldn't make that much difference, this is actually slowing me down - we are redecorating the bedroom and will be getting a new bed; and we have temporarily made the living room our bedroom. Sleeping on a sofabed where there isn't a bedside table with a reading lamp has made it surprisingly difficult to get much reading done! I'll have to step up the pace!
I finished reading . . .
A Light on the Hill (Cities of Refuge)
by Connilyn Cossette - Moriyah was marked with the brand of a pagan goddess during her time of captivity in Jericho, and when her father arranges a marriage, her prospective groom is disdainful of her and only wants her dowry. Then a tragic accident takes the lives of his two sons and he accuses Moriyah of murdering them. She must flee to one of the cities of refuge before he can take revenge. (Read my full review HERE.)

Nice assortment of books. I can understand the stress of having a large review stack. I do too. I'm trying not to look too far ahead and just read the next one on the stack. Thanks for visiting my blog. Happy reading!
ReplyDeleteYes when there is a pile of review books to be read it can be very daunting and with renovations going on too, added pressure. All your books look great, I guess Kathy's comment, just enjoy the one you're reading and don't look too far ahead! Good advice for us all.
ReplyDeleteRedecorating can be so worth it, in the end, but getting there can be ugh! The covers of the Raybourn books have really been catching my eye. I'm going to have check them out. Happy reading!
