Scripture and a Snapshot - Go the Distance

Scripture and a Snapshot - Go the Distance - I run in the path of your commands . . . (Psalm 119) Scripture and a Snapshot is a weekly link-up at Just A Second @ justasecondblog.blogspot.com

I have chosen the way of faithfulness;
I have set my heart on your laws.
I hold fast to your statutes, LORD;
do not let me be put to shame.
I run in the path of your commands,
for you have broadened my understanding.

Teach me, LORD, the way of your decrees,
that I may follow it to the end.
Give me understanding, so that I may keep your law
and obey it with all my heart.
Direct me in the path of your commands,
for there I find delight.

~Psalm 119:30-35~

This is my daughter's cap, decorated for her graduation this past week. And although the quote is from a Disney song (Hercules, in case you didn't recognize it), I'm confident that her trust is in the Lord, and as long as she follows him she will indeed be able to go the distance, wherever he leads her.

  1. I really enjoy this tradition of kids personalizing their graduation caps. And there's certainly good scriptural backing for a believer to say s/he can go the distance!

  2. Congratulations on your daughter's graduation. Again, InLinkz says it will but doesn't sent me a confirmation email so my link up will show so please know I did link up. Have a great week, and that scripture is a great one for heading into life after graduation. :)
