When the angels had left them and gone into heaven, the shepherds said to one another, "Let's go to Bethlehem and see this thing that has happened, which the Lord has told us about."
So they hurried off and found Mary and Joseph, and the baby, who was lying in the manger. When they had seen him, they spread the word concerning what had been told them about this child, and all who heard it were amazed at what the shepherds said to them. But Mary treasured up all these things and pondered them in her heart. The shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all the things they had heard and seen, which were just as they had been told.

I have told you this so that my joy may be in you and that your joy may be complete.~Jesus, in John 15:11
I will exalt you, my God the King;
I will praise your name for ever and ever.
Every day I will praise you
and extol your name for ever and ever.
Great is the LORD and most worthy of praise;
his greatness no one can fathom.
One generation commends your works to another;
they tell of your mighty acts.
They speak of the glorious splendor of your majesty --
and I will meditate on your wonderful works.
They tell of the power of your awesome works --
and I will proclaim your great deeds.
They celebrate your abundant goodness
and joyfully sing of your righteousness.
~Psalm 145:1-7~
Love the story of the birth of Jesus; except for Harrod's part, but still such a miracle. So true, his story is told and carried down year after year for ages. Thanking him for His Son.
