Scripture and a Snapshot - A Future Generation

Let this be written for a future generation,
that a people not yet created may praise the LORD:
"The LORD looked down from his sanctuary on high,
from heaven he viewed the earth,
to hear the groans of the prisoners
and release those condemned to death."
So the name of the LORD will be declared in Zion
and his praise in Jerusalem
when the peoples and the kingdoms
assemble to worship the LORD.

~Psalm 102:18-22~

"I prayed for this child, and the LORD has granted me what I asked of him. So now I give him to the LORD. For his whole life he will be given over to the LORD." And he worshiped the LORD there.
~I Samuel 1:27-28~

Happy Mother's Day!

Perhaps the greatest joy of parenting is seeing children growing in faith and worshiping the Lord. The great responsibility and privilege we parents have is to pass on that faith to the next generation and to pray for our kids. Moms, keep praying and keep telling the stories of God's work in your life!

  2. Happy Mother's Day to you, too! That's my biggest prayer these days for my kids and their kids for ages to come--that God would be real in their lives and they would know Him.
