An Artless Demise (A Lady Darby Mystery)
by Anna Lee Huber - Kiera and Sebastian have moved to London, but their hopes for a quiet season are dashed when their assistance is requested in a case of murder at the hands of resurrectionists. Not long after, they stumble upon the murder of a young heir to a title that has been made to look like the work of resurrectionists. Kiera is subjected to snubs and malicious gossip, and eventually is the target of blackmailers because of her first husband's connections to grave robbers.
Once again, the medical knowledge Kiera gathered while being forced to draw anatomy illustrations, and her keen observation skills help in the investigation of the Mayfair murders, but two more young heirs are victims before she and Gage can figure out the possible motive and perpetrator. Meanwhile, against the backdrop of the burkers' trial, Kiera faces threats and the terror of her own past.
