Scripture and a Snapshot - We Shall All Be Changed

Behold! I tell you a mystery. We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised imperishable, and we shall be changed. For the perishable must clothe itself with the imperishable, and the mortal with immortality. When the perishable has been clothed with the imperishable, and the mortal with immortality, then the saying that is written will come true: "Death is swallowed up in victory."

"Where, O death, is your victory?
Where, O death, is your sting?"

The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law. But thanks be to God! He gives us the vicotry through our Lord Jesus Christ.

Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor is the Lord is not in vain.

~I Corinthians 15:51-58~

  1. What a blessed hope we have. How that should fuel and encourage us in what He has given us to do here.

  2. I have thought of this verse often over the last year. May we remain focused on Him, remembering why we are here and looking for His return.
