This weekly reading list meme is hosted at Book Date. I also link up at Drop Everything And Read, hosted by Tales of a Pee Dee Mama. Join in to see what others are reading and maybe get some ideas of what to read next! Although the link-up happens weekly, I've had trouble keeping up with a weekly schedule, so I've decided to try for every other week! Here's the latest from my reading list.
I finished reading . . .
Ladies of Intrigue
by Michelle Griep - This is a collection of three novellas, each set in the 19th century. Nice, light reading, but because the stories are not full length novels, the plots are simple and without a lot of background or development. (Read my full review HERE.)

Kind Is the New Classy: The Power of Living Graciously
by Candace Cameron Bure - Practical and real-world ways of expressing godly kindness and grace in all areas of life from the popular actress, producer, and celebrity. Good recommended reading! (Read my full review HERE.)

Kind Is the New Classy: The Power of Living Graciously
I'm currently reading . . .
The Blue Castle
by L.M. Montgomery - Valency Stirling has felt unloved by most everyone, and stifled by her family for most of her life. When she reaches her twenty-ninth birthday, she decides to take some chances and try living life on her terms. Working on this for a book club, and will be hard pressed to finish on time, but it's good!

The White City: True Colors: Historical Stories of American Crime
by Grace Hitchcock - While at the Chicago Worlds Fair, Winnifred is convinced she saw a kidnapping but no one takes her seriously.

Next on the stack...
To Kill a Mockingbird
by Harper Lee (except my daughter is also reading it so I'm not sure how we'll coordinate this!)

Oh was wondering how you were finding The Blue Castle so that's positive and book discussion always is interesting.
