What I'm Reading - July 16, 2018

It's Monday! What Are You Reading?

This weekly reading list meme is hosted at Book Date. Join in to see what others are reading and maybe get some ideas of what to read next!

I finished reading . . .  nothing since last week!

I'm currently reading . . .

Delilah: Treacherous Beauty by Angela Hunt - this novel is pretty interesting - imagining quite the background for Delilah as a possible motivation for how she betrays Samson. Although I'm more than halfway through and they have only met in passing so far!

A Daring Venture by Elizabeth Camden - Rosalind is a scientist working on the development of chlorinated water to prevent typhoid and other diseases in city water supplies. Nick is the new Commissioner of Water for New York, and although he wants safe water he is opposed to chlorinating the water supply until it's been thoroughly tested.

Where the Fire Falls: A Vintage National Parks Novel by Karen Barnett - Just started the first chapter of this novel. I've seen it on several other blogs and was intrigued. An example of how participating in this weekly meme has influenced my reading!

Next on the stack...

Treacherous Is the Night (A Verity Kent Mystery) by Anna Lee Huber
Praise Habit: Finding God in Sunsets and Sushi (Experiencing God) by David Crowder
In the Region of the Summer Stars (Eirlandia Series) by Stephen R. Lawhead - I did start this a couple weeks back, and had to set it aside so I could finish reviews. I do plan to pick it up again when I have a bit of time.
